Have-A-Blast is Republic's signature summer event and one of the largest fireworks displays in the 417. J.R. Martin Park
Pumpkin Daze is Republic's largest fall festival and a major fundraiser for college scholarships and community grants. The two-day event features a giant pumpkin weigh-off, more than 300 craft and food vendors, Kiwanis bingo, a kid zone, pony rides, and the Kiwanis queen crowning. It has been a Republic tradition for over 35 years.
Downtown Republic
Hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Republic, the annual Christmas Parade brings floats, marching groups, and holiday spirit through downtown Republic. It is a classic small-town parade that kicks off the holiday season for families on the west side of Springfield.
Republic High School
Homecoming week in Republic brings a parade, football game, and community events that rally the whole town around the Tigers. Even if you do not have a student in school, the Friday night energy at Republic High is a slice of small-town Missouri life.
Republic Area
During the growing season, the Republic farmers market gives residents a weekly reason to shop local produce, baked goods, and handmade items. It is a smaller-scale community gathering that reflects Republic's mix of suburban growth and rural Ozarks roots.
